The 'We' in FAA Services essentially refers to myself, an FAA licensed pilot since 1994 with Airline Transport Pilot privileges for aeroplanes and helicopters, instructor ratings for fixed- and rotorwing, for both the US and the South African Civil Aviation Authorities (FAA and SACAA).
Established in 2014
We have been operating and maintaining aircraft on the US register in South Africa for the last 21 years.
Since May 2014 we helped more than 150 non-US pilots with FAA flight reviews and instrument proficiency checks for both helicopters and aeroplanes in South Africa, with clients traveling to Johannesburg from as far as Finland and Senegal. We also successfully prepared 20 local helicopter commercial pilot candidates for their FAA tests before they traveled to the US for their check-rides. (see 'Train with the Stars' in SA Flyer, article from 2017 ) |
'Our' GoalWe strive to help non-US based pilots and N-reg aircraft owners to successfully navigate the FAA system, reduce the time and effort required and the hard-currency costs associated with obtaining and maintaining FAA licenses and aircraft ownership trusts.
We do so by partnering with operators in the US, delivering to them locally trained and prepared candidates with all the required FAA endorsements, eliminating long, costly stays- and training-programs abroad. |
